We needed to send thousands of certificates for a Pedigree course to customers, and the simplest solution I found was using Node + Puppeteer to merge data from our databases and generate a personalized PDF for each client (including name, course details, and other variable data), using the file name as a unique ID. After that, we used the company’s mailing tool to send them. I initially tried implementing a client-side render to maximize resource efficiency, but it didn’t work due to differences in browsers and GPU capabilities between machines.
