AngularNestJSGoogle Analytics

EMEX was a private online events platform developed during the pandemic. Our main challenge was figuring out how to deliver something different from a typical Facebook or YouTube live stream. I even experimented with TensorFlow.js to recognize facial expressions through the webcam (all fully compliant with Brazil’s General Data Protection Law), since for metrics it is much more valuable to capture real reactions instead of just a click on a heart button. However, we never deployed this in production. I did implement several custom Google Analytics events, such as detecting when a user left the browser tab, how long they stayed away, which reactions were used most, and when they were used. This helped the data analytics team gain deeper behavioral insights from users.
